We hope you haven’t just eaten. Britney Spears and Simon Cowell have been exchanging flirty tweets.
The stomach turning “twirting” all started when Simon took to Twitter to write: “I spent the day with Britney. She really is quite charming,” after filming with the new American X Factor judge.
Britney then cheekily replied: “Oh now you want to be nice! Hehe. U are quite charming yourself… today was fun !”
Ugh. However, Cowell’s Twitter charm didn’t have the same effect on Cheryl Cole, who has returned to the UK version of the show despite being axed by him from the US one (are you still with us?)
Simon tweeted: “Welcome back Cheryl”, but the former Ms Cole responded waspishly with: “I saw Simon’s tweet. I’m not doing this for him. I am doing this for Gary as he’s my friend and he asked me to do it.”
She’s just not that into you, Si.
They’ve been going on about this for what seems like an age but we can now finally confirm that Cheryl Cole will be appearing in an upcoming episode of Glee.
Cheryl’s casting was confirmed by the show’s star Jane Lynch, who told reporters:
“There’s been talk on set of Cheryl appearing for a year or so, but it’s set to happen now. Matthew Morrison has spoken very highly of her and the younger guys on set are keen to have her on, for obvious reasons.”
Morrison has been a big supporter of our Chezza, ever since they appeared together in the film What To Expect When You’re Expecting. No, we’ve not seen it either.
Lynch, who plays gym mistress Sue Sylvester in the hit show, also said: “Cheryl’s the perfect Glee fit, she can sing, she can dance and she looks good. It would be cool if she played herself.”
But no one in America will understand a word she says.
