Placebo sued over own record cover…

Who wouldn’t want to be on the front cover of a classic rock record? Well, David Fox doesn’t. And he’s suing eyeliner-wearing weirdoes Placebo for making his life a misery.

David was immortalised on the band’s self-titled debut album, back in 1986, when he was just 12-years-old. His cousin shot the cute, face-pulling image.

David, however, doesn’t think it’s cute and is claiming he was bullied into quitting school because of it.

“Within a week it was out in the shops,” Fox told The Times. “It was all over the place. I was watching EastEnders with my mum and I saw one of the billboards by the Tube station and it had my face on there.”

The reluctant cover star is currently unemployed and is threatening to use “every bit of spare money” to sue the band for using the image without his permission.

We think the baby from Nirvana’s Nevermind needs to have a word.
